The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), has launched an AI project to enhance labour market productivity.

The initiative uses artificial intelligence technologies, smart algorithms, and robotics. It aligns with the new government work system for implementing Agentic AI models in operations. This system was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Moreover, the project aims to attract more professional talent and skilled workers. It is designed to meet the needs of the modern economy. In addition, it supports the UAE’s position as a global hub for talent attraction.

The initiative also strengthens national efforts to transition towards a more productive, diversified, and balanced labour market. At the same time, it enhances talent attraction in response to global shifts in work and production.

Furthermore, the project will be launched at the beginning of May. It relies on objective evaluation mechanisms. These are based on indicators linked to applicants for work permits. These indicators include professional skills, education level, experience, and acquired knowledge.

In addition, the framework is designed to improve labour market efficiency. It supports the development of a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy.

Overall, the UAE continues to advance its AI-driven labour market strategy, reinforcing productivity, efficiency, and global talent competitiveness through an AI-driven labour market.
