Make it in the Emirates<\/a> opened its 5th edition at ADNEC Abu Dhabi, with a high-level visit by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes\u2019 Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition is taking place through May 7 at ADNEC Abu Dhabi. It is the largest industrial gathering in the region. It brings together senior government and private sector decision-makers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, experts, innovators, and representatives of financial institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said the industrial sector is a key strategic pillar supporting the UAE\u2019s economic diversification. He praised ongoing efforts to achieve the goals of the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology. He also stressed the importance of strong public and private sector partnerships in strengthening the industrial base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He commended the initiative for bringing together local and international stakeholders. He highlighted its role in advancing collaboration in future-focused sectors such as advanced technology, artificial intelligence, and life sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit reinforced the strategic importance of Make it in the Emirates as a platform for industrial collaboration and investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also present were Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Omar Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, and Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, along with senior officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the tour, the delegation visited ADNOC, International Holding Company (IHC), L\u2019IMAD Holding, Mubadala, Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), and EDGE Group pavilions. They were briefed on initiatives, innovations, and contributions to industrial growth, supply chain strengthening, and economic diversification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, ADNOC, and L\u2019IMAD Holding. It is organised by ADNEC Group under the theme \u201cAdvanced Industry. Emerging Stronger.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition features more than 1,245 companies across 12 industrial sectors. It also includes procurement opportunities aimed at localising around 5,000 products in the UAE. SMEs account for 61 percent of total participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the visit, His Highness praised the progress of UAE industries and their global competitiveness. He expressed confidence in strengthening the global presence of Made in the Emirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
