The strategy aims to make the UAE the first government in the world to deploy Agentic AI across 50 percent of its services and operations.

He said the Cabinet also approved a governance framework that defines the responsibilities of ministries and federal entities involved in the national project.

In addition, Sheikh Mohammed announced the launch of what he described as the largest training programme in the history of the UAE Government. The initiative will train 80,000 employees in Agentic AI tools and technologies.

The programme will cover ministers, senior executives, and employees across ministries, authorities, and government entities. It will also support the UAE Government’s plan to transition 50 percent of government services and operations to Agentic AI models within two years.

Developed in partnership with national universities and global technology companies, the programme will train federal employees across five occupational categories. These include leadership, technical, specialist, general workforce, and train-the-trainers groups.

A dedicated digital platform powered by Agentic AI tools will also be developed. The platform will provide personalised learning pathways based on employees’ roles and competency levels. Furthermore, the content will be continuously updated with the latest advancements in the field.

The Cabinet also approved the first package of transformational government services powered by Agentic AI. The services will be designed for citizens, residents, businesses, investors, and the wider public.

Additionally, the Cabinet adopted a framework defining the roles of ministries and federal entities in implementing the Agentic AI project. Each entity will establish work teams led by ministers or heads of entities. These teams will include leaders responsible for government services, operations, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.

The teams will implement the new Agentic AI operating system and work toward transforming at least 50 percent of federal services and operations into Agentic AI systems and operating models. They will also establish targets and assessment indicators to measure efficiency, productivity, and transformation progress.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid also announced the approval of the National Policy for Advancing Digital Healthcare Services and Artificial Intelligence in the Healthcare Sector.

According to Sheikh Mohammed, the policy is built on three foundations. These include developing a national AI-driven medical system, building advanced digital health infrastructure, and equipping healthcare professionals with AI capabilities needed for future healthcare demands.

He added that the UAE Government 4.0 journey has now begun. Sheikh Mohammed also said a national retreat will be held to develop the full transformation strategy, with Sheikh Mansour leading and overseeing the process.

The policy establishes a framework to build an integrated national health system supported by AI systems and models. It aims to improve health and well-being across the community.

The policy also focuses on expanding the use of digital technologies and AI across preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and operational healthcare services. Moreover, it seeks to strengthen smart health infrastructure, develop national AI capabilities, and ensure security, ethics, and data governance in healthcare AI applications.

The Cabinet further approved drafting a Federal Law to regulate smart health applications and the use of AI in the healthcare sector. The law will create a unified framework for the development, licensing, accreditation, operation, and use of AI-powered health systems.

The proposed law will address health data governance, safety standards, quality controls, legal liabilities, patient rights protections, and coordination between federal and local authorities.

Meanwhile, the Cabinet approved the reconstitution of the UAE Council for Digital Wellbeing. The council will be chaired by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and will include ministers and senior officials from telecommunications, education, culture, justice, cybersecurity, community development, and youth sectors.

The Cabinet also reviewed the results of the Industrial Technology Transformation Programme and the 2025 Industrial Technology Transformation Index, both part of the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, also known as Operation 300bn.

The programme assessed more than 620 industrial companies, developed technological transformation roadmaps, and introduced incentives to accelerate smart industrial transformation in the UAE.

As part of clean energy efforts, the Cabinet reviewed the implementation results of the National Electric Vehicles Policy for 2025. The policy supported a unified tariff for EV charging stations and expanded public charging infrastructure across the country.

As a result, the number of public charging stations increased from 360 in 2021 to 1,200 in 2025.

In healthcare, the Cabinet reviewed the implementation of premarital genetic testing under the Emirati Genome Programme. The agreements cover trade in services and investment, diplomatic and academic cooperation, financial sector regulation, and meteorological cooperation.

The agreements involve countries including Kazakhstan, Panama, Seychelles, Serbia, Monaco, Austria, and Tonga.

The Cabinet also approved the hosting of several international events in the UAE, including the Fourth World Congress of University Research and the Congress of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.

The UAE Agentic AI strategy remains central to the country’s broader efforts to accelerate digital transformation, strengthen AI adoption, and position the UAE as a global leader in next-generation government services.

[9617
71,2725,77,73
9732
post-105764","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-latest-news","tag-ai","tag-artificial-intelligence","tag-technology","tag-uae","contributor-news-desk
["GET
