The UAE Cyber Security Council<\/a>, e& UAE, and Open Innovation AI launched the UAE Sovereign AI Platform for national-scale infrastructure. The initiative was unveiled at ISNR 2026 in Abu Dhabi. It is now available for onboarding as of today, marking a major step in secure AI deployment led by e& UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The platform is designed to deliver secure AI capabilities across national security, mission-critical operations, critical infrastructure, and classified government environments. It enables organisations to deploy and operate advanced AI technologies. These include generative AI, large language models, AI agents, advanced analytics, and autonomous workflows. All of this runs within fully UAE-controlled infrastructure. This ensures the highest levels of security, resilience, and regulatory compliance. In this transformation, e& UAE plays a central role in enabling national-scale digital infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At its core, the platform introduces a Sovereign AI Security Framework. It validates, governs, and monitors AI models, agents, applications, and workflows before deployment into sensitive environments. The framework addresses emerging national security challenges linked to AI adoption. It focuses on model integrity and governance, operational isolation, cyber resilience, data sovereignty, sovereign AI execution, secure AI operations, and secure execution of classified AI workloads. The collaboration highlights how e& UAE<\/a> supports secure-by-design AI ecosystems for government and strategic sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative brings together national governance and cyber resilience frameworks from the UAE Cyber Security Council, secure connectivity and digital infrastructure from e& UAE, and AI orchestration technology from Open Innovation AI. The full stack includes GPU orchestration, AI infrastructure management, model deployment, AI agents, secure inference, and operational controls. It has been designed, engineered, and built in the UAE to strengthen sovereign capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The platform is built for air-gapped and cyber-secure environments. These include national security and mission-critical operations, intelligence and cyber operations, emergency response, critical infrastructure, smart government, and regulated strategic industries. It is expected to support secure AI agents, advanced analytics, classified workload processing, decision-support systems, knowledge management, and workflow automation in sensitive environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government, said AI adoption in sensitive environments must be supported by strong governance, secure infrastructure, and clear national controls. He added that the platform enables cyber resilience, data protection, and policy alignment through trusted infrastructure, with support from e& UAE and ecosystem partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abdulla Ebrahim Al Ahmed, Chief Government and VVIP Relations Officer at e& UAE, said national security environments require sovereign and secure AI platforms built for real deployment. He noted that e& UAE is helping ensure sensitive workloads remain within UAE-controlled infrastructure while enabling advanced AI and analytics capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Abed Benaichouche, CEO and Co-Founder of Open Innovation AI, said the platform helps organisations manage sensitive operations while maintaining full control over data, compute, models, and security policies. He also highlighted that the entire technology stack has been developed in the UAE to accelerate secure AI adoption and strengthen national digital capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
