DXC Technology<\/a> has launched DXC Engineering as a distinct service offering and a foundational pillar of its Consulting & Engineering Services business. The move formalizes the company’s engineering division and brings together deep domain expertise, a strategic technology partner ecosystem, and AI-enabled solutions under a unified brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Announced on June 2, 2026, DXC Engineering builds on the 20-year digital engineering heritage of Luxoft, which DXC acquired in 2019. The organization comprises more than 11,000 specialized engineers operating across 29 countries within DXC’s broader 40,000-strong Consulting & Engineering Services workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new offering is designed to address the growing demand for software-defined intelligent systems across industries. It combines three core capabilities: domain-specific solutions, an industry-focused AI partnership ecosystem, and Physical AI-enabled smart product design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to DXC, the organization delivers mission-critical solutions across financial services, automotive, manufacturing, telecommunications, energy, and other sectors. The company said it provides customers with a single partner capable of combining industry expertise with technical execution. These capabilities include building trading risk engines, autonomous driving platforms that meet functional safety standards, and real-time telecom network systems designed to operate at scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ramnath Venkataraman, President, Consulting & Engineering Services at DXC Technology<\/a>, said the launch reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its engineering capabilities. He noted that organizations are entering the software-defined era and increasingly require intelligent systems that combine software, hardware, and AI technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DXC Engineering’s domain-specific solutions strategy spans both software integration and custom engineering. In financial services, the company supports trading, treasury, payments, risk management, digital banking, and regulatory platforms used by major institutions worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, in the automotive sector, DXC leverages its proprietary AMBER software framework. The platform is designed to reduce vehicle software development cycles by up to 50 percent and lower infotainment system costs by up to 30 percent. The company also provides telecom network modernization, AI-enabled operational platforms, smart manufacturing technologies, and industrial engineering solutions for critical infrastructure environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, DXC Engineering has established a partner ecosystem that includes silicon and AI compute providers, financial technology platform vendors, and emerging technology startups. The ecosystem includes partners such as Murex and Temenos, alongside AI and hardware leaders including NVIDIA. DXC said its engineering expertise and enterprise integration capabilities help customers combine multiple technologies into production-ready solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company is also expanding its focus on Physical AI and intelligent systems. These technologies bring together software, hardware, and artificial intelligence in real-world environments. DXC Engineering applies these capabilities across enterprise operations, telecommunications infrastructure, manufacturing environments, and autonomous vehicle programs. Through collaborations with AI compute and semiconductor partners, the company aims to accelerate the deployment of intelligent systems in physical environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
