Siri AI represents a major evolution of Apple’s voice assistant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new assistant is deeply integrated across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro. It can understand personal context and search across messages, emails, photos, and other content to help users complete tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Siri AI can perform more systemwide app actions and answer questions about content displayed on a user’s screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faster Performance Across Apple Platforms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple highlighted several performance improvements arriving with its 2027 software releases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the company, iPhone and iPad apps will launch up to 30 percent faster. Photos will load up to 70 percent faster after capture, while AirDrop transfers can be up to 80 percent faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Network transitions between cellular and Wi-Fi connections have also been improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, file browsing and transfers between external drives and iPad are now up to five times faster, matching Finder-level performance on Mac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple has rebuilt search functionality across Spotlight, Photos, and Mail to improve stability and efficiency. A new ranking system in Mail also surfaces more relevant Top Hits results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Health app will add support for perimenopause and menopause tracking within Cycle Tracking, including notifications about cycle deviations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple Watch users will receive a new dynamic app grid featuring five Siri-suggested apps. A new tap gesture will allow users to open widgets in Smart Stack, while a redesigned Find My app will combine Find Devices, Find Items, and Find People.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AirPods users will gain access to custom EQ controls. Additionally, AirPods Pro 3 users will be able to sync heart rate data through iPhone using expanded Apple GymKit functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Apple Vision Pro, users will be able to transform panoramas into spatial scenes and use them as personal environments. Wi-Fi connectivity speeds will also improve by up to three times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple Maps is receiving an enhanced Flyover experience that combines aerial imagery with AI-generated enhancements to deliver more detailed visuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Availability and Supported Devices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new features are available for developer testing through the Apple Developer Program beginning today. A public beta will launch through the Apple Beta Software Program next month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple plans to release the software updates as free downloads this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple Intelligence will be available on supported devices running iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supported devices include iPhone 16 models and later, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, iPad mini with A17 Pro, iPads and Macs powered by M1 or newer chips, Apple Vision Pro, Apple Watch Series 10 and later, Apple Watch Ultra 2 and later, and Apple Watch SE 3 when paired with a compatible iPhone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple Intelligence currently supports English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Siri AI is available for developer testing today on iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and visionOS 27. A beta version for users with supported devices configured in English will launch later this year, with additional language support planned afterward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple confirmed that Siri AI will not initially be available in the European Union on iOS and iPadOS, while Apple Intelligence and Siri AI will not be available in China until regulatory requirements are addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
