The study attributed approximately AED31 billion of that value to Digital Dubai&#8217;s contribution. It also awarded Digital Dubai an AA+ rating, placing it among the world&#8217;s leading digital <a href=\"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/en\/category\/government\/\">government<\/a> entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strengthening Dubai&#8217;s Global Position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the study, Digital Dubai played a significant role in enhancing Dubai&#8217;s brand strength. It contributed to the emirate&#8217;s score of 86 out of 100 on the City Brand Strength Index.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Digital Dubai added 1.9 points to Dubai&#8217;s Brand Strength Index score. This contribution helped the emirate move from seventh to fifth place among the world&#8217;s leading city brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Growing Trust and Reputation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study highlighted strong performance across both the Trust and Reputation indices. Digital Dubai achieved scores of 8.4 out of 10 in each category among Dubai residents and the business community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These results reflect growing confidence in Dubai&#8217;s digital ecosystem and quality of digital life. They also reinforce the emirate&#8217;s position as a globally recognized digital city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Leadership Perspective<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai, said the findings reflect Dubai&#8217;s vision of placing digital transformation at the center of sustainable development, quality of life, and global competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted that the digital ecosystem has evolved beyond technology infrastructure and smart services. According to Al Mansoori, it has become an essential part of living, working, and investing in Dubai while serving as a key driver of trust and international appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added that Dubai&#8217;s ranking among the world&#8217;s strongest place brands demonstrates the success of its people-centered approach. He also highlighted the role of continued investment in trusted digital infrastructure and collaboration across government entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al Mansoori said the results reflect leadership&#8217;s commitment to using innovation and digital transformation to improve lives, empower communities, and strengthen the economy. He also reaffirmed the organization&#8217;s commitment to delivering seamless and integrated digital services that address evolving societal needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, Al Janahi said the ecosystem&#8217;s performance highlights the impact of collaboration and integration across government entities in delivering trusted, resilient, and future-ready digital services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tangible Impact on Brand Value<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Haigh, CEO and Chairman of Brand Finance, said the findings demonstrate how trusted digital infrastructure has become a critical driver of a city&#8217;s reputation and global competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted that Digital Dubai&#8217;s AA+ institutional brand strength rating and its AED31 billion contribution to Dubai&#8217;s place brand value highlight the impact of investments in people-centric digital government services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Outstanding Performance Metrics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study showed that Digital Dubai achieved a brand familiarity score of 92%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its Brand Strength Index score reached 77.7 out of 100. Meanwhile, it scored 8.4 out of 10 for both Trust and Reputation among residents and businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Digital Dubai recorded 8.1 out of 10 in the Benefit of Doubt indicator and 7.9 out of 10 in Engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These results reflect the growing visibility of Dubai&#8217;s digital ecosystem and the high level of trust it has established across society and the business community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Impact Beyond Government Services<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study found that Digital Dubai&#8217;s influence extends beyond digital government services. It also contributes to Dubai&#8217;s global standing and soft power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among its strongest areas of impact were reinforcing Dubai&#8217;s position as a globally significant city with strategic importance (+15.3 points), strengthening its reputation as a startup and innovation hub (+11.2 points), and supporting future growth potential (+10.8 points).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Digital Dubai contributed to reducing bureaucracy (+10.6 points), enhancing openness and welcoming attitudes (+10.1 points), improving quality of life (+9.7 points), advancing leadership in science and technology (+9.2 points), strengthening trust in the emirate (+9.2 points), and improving ease of doing business (+8.5 points).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Economic and Reputational Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the study, the impact of Digital Dubai extends beyond service delivery. It contributes directly to perceptions of innovation, trustworthiness, efficiency, openness, and ease of doing business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These factors support Dubai&#8217;s ability to attract businesses, investors, and skilled talent from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brand Finance uses a methodology that combines marketing and finance principles to evaluate brand strength and financial value. For cities, the assessment relies on specialized research, international benchmarking, and data measuring perceptions related to soft power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study was based on responses from approximately 5,000 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the Brand Finance Global City Index, regarded as one of the most comprehensive studies of city brand perceptions, ranked the top 100 global city brands.
