Google Cloud Marketplace will offer SandboxAQ’s Large Quantitative Models (LQMs), enabling researchers to access physics-grounded scientific AI models directly through conversational AI tools without requiring specialized coding or infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement expands SandboxAQ’s strategy to make its LQMs available across leading AI platforms. As a result, researchers will be able to access rigorous scientific models within the tools they already use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LQMs are AI models built on real-world laboratory data and scientific equations. They are designed for the more than $50 trillion global quantitative economy, spanning industries such as biopharma, energy, advanced materials, and financial services. Through SandboxAQ Google Cloud Marketplace, SandboxAQ is extending access to its LQMs across more enterprise channels and large language models. At the same time, Google Cloud is strengthening its capabilities in healthcare and drug discovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brian Goldstein, Vice President, Strategic AI and ISV at Google Cloud, said, “Bringing SandboxAQ’s Large Quantitative Models to GCP Marketplace is one of the ways we are empowering healthcare researchers to accelerate drug discovery and solve one of the most critical gaps in healthcare today.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack D. Hidary, CEO of SandboxAQ<\/a>, added, “Bringing our LQMs to Google Cloud’s Marketplace will put the rigor of first-principles science directly into the hands of every researcher, in the tools they already use. Pairing the reasoning of a frontier model such as Gemini with the quantitative precision of our LQMs is a powerful combination.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration also builds on SandboxAQ’s broader strategy of connecting its LQMs to leading large language models. Earlier, the company announced an integration with Anthropic’s Claude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first model that will be available through SandboxAQ<\/a> Google Cloud Marketplace is AQCat, which is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2026. The model focuses on adsorption energy calculation, a critical first step in catalyst and materials discovery. It measures how strongly molecules bind to a catalyst surface, enabling researchers to identify and prioritize the most promising candidates before committing significant computational and laboratory resources to full evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the company, AQCat delivers gold-standard accuracy while significantly reducing the time and cost required for materials screening. This enables researchers to evaluate a much larger number of potential materials than was previously possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Catalysts play a role in more than 90 percent of commercially produced chemical products. They support industries including green hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel, fertilizer production, and plastics recycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, SandboxAQ also plans to make AQPotency available through SandboxAQ Google Cloud Marketplace in the third quarter of 2026. The model is designed for drug discovery and enables researchers to computationally identify and prioritize promising molecular binders at high throughput.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Binders are molecules that attach to biological targets such as disease-related proteins. Identifying molecules that bind strongly and selectively is a fundamental step in developing safe and effective medicines. SandboxAQ said AQPotency can evaluate thousands of candidates in a fraction of the time and cost associated with traditional screening methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company noted that the global drug discovery market was valued at approximately $112 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach around $187 billion by 2034, citing Straits Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The addition of AQCat and AQPotency is expected to strengthen Google Cloud Marketplace for pharmaceutical and biotechnology research teams. Through SandboxAQ Google Cloud Marketplace, SandboxAQ aims to expand enterprise access to physics-grounded AI models while helping accelerate innovation in materials science and drug discovery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
