Cybersecurity Awareness took centre stage as His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, visited the pavilions of the UAE Cyber Security Council<\/a> and Abu Dhabi Police during his tour of the Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his visit to the UAE Cyber Security Council pavilion, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed reviewed interactive programmes and activities designed to raise Cybersecurity Awareness among students. The initiatives introduced participants to the fundamentals of data protection, privacy, and the safe use of digital technologies and online platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also reviewed training workshops focused on developing technical skills and encouraging students to pursue future specialisations in cybersecurity and emerging technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, H.H. Sheikh Mansour met several participating students and listened to their experiences. He praised their commitment to developing their capabilities and making productive use of the summer holiday by gaining specialised skills that prepare them for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Abu Dhabi Police pavilion, he reviewed the security camp organised as part of the festival. The programme aims to promote security awareness and strengthen preventive culture through educational and interactive activities for children, adolescents, and young people. It also encourages participants to use their time productively while expanding their knowledge and practical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, H.H. Sheikh Mansour observed awareness lectures, practical workshops, and specialist-led training sessions. These covered security and safety concepts, community responsibility, narcotics prevention, digital risks, and training using virtual reality and augmented reality technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiatives are designed to prepare a well-informed generation with the knowledge and skills needed to address future challenges. They also reinforce responsibility, national belonging, and awareness of the role of security personnel in serving the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

H.H. Sheikh Mansour stressed that investing in people begins with building awareness and equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to keep pace with rapid transformation. He said promoting a culture of security and safety, strengthening digital awareness, and preparing qualified national talent in technical fields are essential to sustaining development and reinforcing the UAE’s leadership in building an innovation-driven knowledge economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UAE Cyber Security Council and Abu Dhabi Police pavilions demonstrate strong collaboration between national institutions in preparing a generation equipped with future skills and capable of protecting national achievements while supporting sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival is part of wider efforts to make productive use of the summer holiday through programmes that combine education and entertainment while strengthening students’ skills and connection to national values and heritage.
