Cloudflare, Inc.<\/a> (NYSE: NET) will bring its AI security and agentic infrastructure vision to LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event will run from 31 August to 3 September. The connectivity cloud company plans to show how organisations can build, protect, and scale AI applications responsibly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Saudi Arabia speeds up its digital transformation, AI adoption is rising sharply across the Kingdom. Cloudflare<\/a> will therefore demonstrate how businesses can secure AI workloads while establishing the governance needed to scale them safely. Company executives will also meet government leaders, enterprises, technology partners, and developers at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ercan Aydin, Area Vice President for the Middle East, Turkey & Africa at Cloudflare, said Saudi Arabia is moving quickly from AI experimentation to full production. As a result, he noted, infrastructure needs are changing fast. AI applications must be secure from the outset, he added, and AI agents need identities and permissions, much like human users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At LEAP, Cloudflare will highlight several technologies. These include Cloudflare One for Zero Trust security, and Cloudflare Workers for deploying applications at the edge. In addition, Firewall for AI will help protect large language model applications from prompt injection and data leakage. AI Gateway will offer visibility and control over AI traffic, models, and costs. Meanwhile, AI Crawl Control and Pay Per Crawl will give publishers more control over how AI companies use their content. The company will also showcase its agentic AI infrastructure, including isolated Sandboxes, Cloudflare Mesh, persistent Agent Memory, AI Search, and native OAuth governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Aydin, one of the biggest AI security gaps is not a lack of technology, but a lack of visibility. Many organisations, he explained, don’t fully understand how AI is being used internally, or how much AI-related traffic already reaches their systems. Employees may share sensitive data with public AI tools without realising the risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, Cloudflare’s approach pairs this visibility with security controls. This helps organisations track AI activity, prevent data leaks, and manage rising API costs. As AI agents move from passive tools to active participants in business operations, Aydin said, they are becoming users on the network in their own right. They log in, act, and make decisions at machine speed. Consequently, he stressed, enterprises must treat agent identity as seriously as human identity, giving each agent proper permissions and an auditable activity trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloudflare’s presence at LEAP also reflects its broader focus on the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region. Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 continues to drive cloud adoption and investment in emerging technologies. LEAP itself has grown into a major global platform for technology companies, startups, and policymakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Cloudflare pointed to its H1 2026 DDoS Threat Report, which recorded a rise in attacks reaching the terabit-per-second range. This trend, Aydin said, shows why AI security will play a growing role in defence. Attacks now move faster than human teams can always respond to, he noted, and AI will push that speed closer to real time. Going forward, he added, the strongest security teams will be those that use AI to handle scale, while people focus on judgment and strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloudflare will host its regional team at Booth H3 C50 in Hall 3 throughout LEAP 2026.
