Group-IB and the UAE Cyber Security Council (CSC)<\/a> have announced a strategic partnership to advance predictive cyber defense<\/a> in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership will focus on threat intelligence exchange, incident response coordination, and cybersecurity capacity building. Additionally, both organizations plan to establish a joint Innovation Center of Excellence to strengthen the UAE’s digital resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration builds on the UAE’s established position in cybersecurity. Furthermore, it combines the Council’s national cybersecurity vision with Group-IB’s adversary-centric intelligence, investigation expertise, and predictive capabilities. As the UAE continues to pursue one of the world’s most ambitious digital transformation agendas, sustaining that momentum depends on intelligence shared quickly between government and private sector. In other words, the goal is to anticipate how adversaries operate, rather than simply responding after the fact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Areas of cooperation are expected to include the exchange of intelligence on cyber risks, threat actors, malicious infrastructure, malware, attack techniques, and indicators of compromise. Moreover, the organizations intend to explore how intelligence on adversary behavior and infrastructure can help identify emerging threats earlier, support preemptive defense, and improve readiness before attacks materialize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Capacity building will also be a key focus. Both parties plan to collaborate on specialized training, technical workshops, educational materials, and joint working groups. As a result, these initiatives aim to support the development of national cybersecurity talent and strengthen practical readiness across the UAE’s digital ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the collaboration, Group-IB and the CSC also intend to explore establishing a joint Innovation Center of Excellence in the UAE. This initiative would provide a platform for cybersecurity innovation, knowledge exchange, and capability development, bringing together global expertise and regional threat intelligence alongside the Council’s national cybersecurity vision. Further details on the scope and activities of the initiative will be defined as the collaboration progresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government, said: “Anticipating risks before they materialize is central to the UAE’s national cybersecurity vision. Our collaboration with Group-IB, including plans for an Innovation Center of Excellence, will strengthen our ability to share intelligence at speed and build the practical readiness our digital economy depends on.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dmitry Volkov, CEO of Group-IB, added: “Cybersecurity has traditionally focused on detecting and responding to attacks already underway. We believe the next step is to give defenders more time, using adversary intelligence, technology and AI to anticipate what is coming and take action before impact.
