McAfee, the device-to-cloud cybersecurity<\/a> company, has announced a spate of new innovations to MVISION with the availability of\u00a0Unified Cloud Edge<\/a>, which protects enterprise data across devices, web and the Cloud; Cloud Native Infrastructure Security, which helps organizations protect the entire infrastructure and application stack of cloud-native applications; a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) offering, and accelerated partner momentum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The McAfee MVISION platform builds upon two foundational pillars \u2014 MVISION\nCloud and MVISION Endpoint. MVISION Cloud consists of Unified\nCloud Edge<\/a> which protects data as it leaves the device, travels\nto and from the cloud and within Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud services;\nand Cloud Native Infrastructure Security, designed to secure the full stack of\ncloud native applications including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS),\nPlatform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and container environments. Together, they\nenhance and simplify security by providing a core set of common security\nservices that are cloud native, unified and open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

McAfee also announced the launch of a global MDR offering, whereby DXC\nTechnology will be McAfee\u2019s first strategic MDR partner to leverage McAfee\u2019s\nMVISION EDR solution to proactively detect cyber threats faced by customers and\nresolve security incidents faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unified Cloud Edge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

McAfee also plans to integrate browser isolation technology into MVISION\nUnified Cloud Edge thanks to McAfee\u2019s definitive agreement to acquire Light\nPoint Security, LLC, an award-winning pioneer of browser isolation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MVISION Unified Cloud Edge brings together the capabilities of McAfee\u2019s\nCloud Access Security Broker product, McAfee\u00ae Web Gateway, and McAfee\u00ae Data\nLoss Prevention offerings \u2014 all consistently managed by MVISION ePolicy\nOrchestrator (ePO\u2122) \u2014 to deliver a unified environment to create and enforce\ndata security and threat protection policies in the cloud, on the web and on\nthe device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
