McAfee, the device-to-cloud cybersecurity\ncompany, has announced that it is launching a global Managed Detection and\nResponse (MDR) platform. DXC Technology will be McAfee\u2019s first strategic MDR\npartner to leverage McAfee\u2019s MVISION EDR solution to proactively detect cyber\nthreats faced by customers and resolve security incidents faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With a rapidly evolving threat landscape, cybersecurity talent has been unable to keep up with demand. A\u00a0report<\/a>\u00a0from (ISC)\u00a0estimates the global IT security<\/a> skills shortage to exceed four million unfilled positions up from nearly three million in 2018, putting acute pressure on skilled security operations personnel.
