Telcos around the globe are choosing VMware to drive their digital transformation forward by adopting a software-defined, automated and virtualized infrastructure built on NFV,\u201d said Shekar Ayyar, executive vice president and general manager, Telco and Edge Cloud, VMware. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VMware NFV\nCustomers Share Their Stories<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VMware\u2019s Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)\nplatform is relied upon by more than 100 operators to deliver their telecom\nservices to 800 million subscribers globally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Xavier Rocoplan, CTIO, Millicom, said, \u201cWe selected\nVMware as a strategic partner in this endeavor and are working with them to\ndesign and deploy a consistent platform for service and application delivery\nfor all of our subsidiaries.
