HID Global announced the launch of HID\u00ae<\/sup> SignoTM<\/sup><\/a>, its signature line of readers secure approach to access control.  The new readers simplify system deployment\nand management, meet the advanced security requirements of today\u2019s dynamic\nenvironments and set organizations up for smarter, more connected access\ncontrol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, with support for Apple’s Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP) to enable Student IDs in Apple Wallet, HID Signo is driving the next wave of flexibility and convenience with mobile access. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HID\u2019s new readers are packed with smart\nfeatures, such as automatic surface detection that recalibrates and optimizes\nread performance based on the mounting location.  For rugged, outdoor performance, the readers are\nalso IP65 rated with no additional gasket needed, and feature a capacitive\ntouch keypad resistant to harsh weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transcending traditional access control<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

HID Signo\u2019s connectivity-by-design\nmodel empowers administrators to remotely configure and diagnose readers as\nwell as monitor status through a centrally managed and connected reader\necosystem. Additionally, configuration can be further streamlined through the\ncontroller via the Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
