Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, has announced the appointment of Sherifa Hady as the Channel Sales Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa<\/a>. In her role, Hady will oversee the channel team, working closely with them to build partnerships with resellers and distributors across the region, exploring new and existing opportunities for mutual business growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe channel is at an inflection point. Enterprises are facing an\nurgent pressure from digital transformation to evolve the role of technology\nwithin their business. This is driving new opportunities, as well as some\nchallenges, for the channel\u201d, said Sherifa Hady. \u201cI believe that as a strategic\npartner, Aruba has an incredibly important role to play in enabling our\npartners to succeed in this transition, and I\u2019m looking forward to working\nclosely with all of our partners across EMEA to achieve that goal\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to her new role at Aruba, Sherifa spent 18 years\nwith HPE, building experience of working closely with partners in the region.\nHer roles have included Distribution Director (CEEMA), Channel Manager (English\nAfrica), and managing the Retail & Consumer Business Unit in the Middle\nEast and, most recently, as the Managing Director for HPE in South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her success and dedication has been widely recognized by the industry, including being awarded the Excellence in Technology award at The Arab Women In Leadership and Business Summit in January 2020, No.1 Channel Champion for Middle East and Africa by the \u2018Channel Middle East\u2019 October 2017 edition and Woman Executive of the Year by online magazine \u2018Reseller Middle East\u2019 at their Excellence awards in 2016. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
