{"id":2002,"date":"2020-03-31T10:57:20","date_gmt":"2020-03-31T06:57:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/?p=2002"},"modified":"2025-04-18T02:26:45","modified_gmt":"2025-04-17T22:26:45","slug":"german-govt-saps-digital-skills-development-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/en\/german-govt-saps-digital-skills-development-program\/","title":{"rendered":"German Govt and SAP\u2019s Digital Skills Development Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and\nDevelopment (BMZ) along with Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale\nZusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and technology company SAP have marked the graduation\nof a group of Egyptian youth from SAP\u2019s digital skills development program, SAP\nYoung Professional Program, supporting Egypt Vision 2030 in creating youth jobs\nin the Digital Economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In support of the Ministry of Communications and Information\nTechnology (MCIT)\u2019s goals to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcit.gov.eg\/Upcont\/Documents\/Publications_1672019000_Yearbook2018.pdf\">create\n100,000 ICT jobs<\/a> by 2022, the SAP Young Professional Program has\nalready graduated 11 cohorts in Egypt since 2013. Over 99\npercent of program graduates have secured meaningful work opportunities in the\nSAP ecosystem of customers and partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants of the Young Professional\nProgram undergo a rigorous selection process before embarking on a three-month\nfull-time training program designed to equip young professionals with skills in\nthe latest SAP technologies \u2013 including two formal global SAP certifications &#8211;\nas well as soft and future skills needed to succeed in the modern workplace.\nThis makes every graduate of the program immediately employable in a range of\npublic and private sector companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahmed\nHarby, who graduated from the Young Professional Program in 2017 and is now an\nAssociate Project Manager and SAP S\/4HANA FICO Consultant at Egyptian\nInternational Motors, said the program helped him to kickstart a successful\ncareer. \u201cGraduating from the Young Professional Program has allowed me a head\nstart at Egypt International Motors, giving me the skills and confidence to\nsupport the company\u2019s digital transformation journey and grow my career,\u201d said\nAhmed Harby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest SAP Young Professional Program in Egypt is part of a collaboration\nbetween SAP and the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit\n(GIZ) GmbH with the aim to jointly create 450 jobs for highly-qualified\npersonnel in the IT sector in ten African countries over the course of three\nyears.
