Some of Goama\u2019s clients have used it for promotional campaigns, while others rely on the platform, which introduces new games every week, to add a full-fledged gaming function to their app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/tag\/startup\/\"> startup<\/a>, which recently took part in SOSV\u2019s accelerator program, presented last week during CES at the Taiwan Tech Arena pavilion. The event is over, but Goama\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/livetour.istaging.com\/d5777826-f405-40de-bfd5-b684605fafc8?index=1\">virtual booth is still up<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of Goama\u2019s clients are \u201csuper apps,\u201d or apps that offer several services and want to include games, too. To better serve super apps, Goama recently introduced a tournament model in addition to its<a href=\"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/tag\/subscription\/\"> subscription <\/a>model for users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/WavePay-SS.jpg?w=1500&amp;crop=1\" alt=\"Goama\u2019s gaming platform integrated into money transfer app WavePay\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Goama-Home.png?w=1500&amp;crop=1\" alt=\"Gaming platform Goama\u2019s home screen\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>View 2 Photos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The startup says that integrating Goama\u2019s platform can help apps grow brand awareness when people share their results or invite other players to tournaments. It also increases user <a href=\"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/tag\/engagement\/\">engagement<\/a>, with players typically spending more than 16 minutes per session playing games. So far, the platform has a combined total of 2.5 million unique users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company currently focuses on Asia and Latin America, where mobile penetration is growing quickly, and works with more than 15 partners, including GCash and Rappi, to enable <a href=\"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/tag\/digital-payments\/\">digital payments<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/techxmedia.com\/tag\/communication\/\">communications<\/a>.
