The event, hosted by Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from January 14 to 16, 2025. Visitors can explore DEWA\u2019s innovative solutions at its stand in Hall 5 (Energy Hall).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Highlights at DEWA\u2019s Stand<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DEWA will present a model of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the world\u2019s largest single-site solar park developed under the Independent Power Producer (IPP) model. With a current production capacity of 2,860MW and 1,800MW under construction, the solar park aims to contribute 27% of Dubai\u2019s energy capacity from clean and renewable sources by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sustainability and Innovation Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors can experience the latest clean energy technologies at DEWA\u2019s Sustainability and Innovation Centre, located within the solar park. The centre offers an immersive journey into sustainable innovation, enhanced by metaverse-powered virtual tours of the solar park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>R&amp;D Centre<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DEWA\u2019s Research and Development (R&amp;D) Centre underscores Dubai\u2019s leadership in solar energy, smart grids, and energy efficiency. The centre has published 263 Scopus-indexed research papers and filed 42 patent applications, cementing its status as a global hub for energy research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Space-D Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DEWA\u2019s Space-D initiative leverages nanosatellite technology to enhance its electricity and water network operations. As part of this programme, DEWA launched DEWA-SAT1 in January 2022 and DEWA-SAT2 in April 2023, making it the first utility globally to integrate nanosatellites for operational efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EV Green Charger<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Promoting green mobility, DEWA\u2019s EV Green Charger initiative has established over 400 charging stations with 740 charging points across Dubai. This project supports Dubai\u2019s vision of becoming the world\u2019s smartest and happiest city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Smart Grid<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DEWA\u2019s advanced smart grid system enhances energy transmission efficiency, reduces losses, and improves load management.
