Canon EMEA, a global leader in imaging and print technologies, has announced the appointment of Shinichi \u2018Sam\u2019 Yoshida as its new President & CEO, effective March 1, 2025. Yoshida succeeds Yuichi Ishizuka, who is retiring after a distinguished 44-year career with Canon, including seven years leading the EMEA region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yoshida transitions from his role in the USA, where he served as Executive Vice President & General Manager of the Marketing Strategy Unit, as well as Chairman & CEO of Canon Solutions America, Inc. and Canon Financial Services, Inc. In his new role, he will oversee Canon EMEA\u2019s expansive operations across 120 countries, managing a workforce of approximately 12,300 employees and contributing significantly to the company\u2019s global revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His leadership will focus on strengthening Canon\u2019s core imaging and printing business while driving expansion into emerging areas such as B2B Imaging, Industrial and Commercial Printing, and Information Management Solutions. With a background in manufacturing, innovation, and sustainability, Yoshida was instrumental in establishing Canon Virginia, Inc., a key manufacturing hub in the Americas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
