Dubai is set to host GISEC Global 2025<\/a> from 6 to 8 May at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event returns for its 14th edition and will focus on advancing the role of women in cybersecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organised under the patronage of the UAE Cybersecurity Council, and supported by the Dubai Electronic Security Centre, Ministry of Interior, and Dubai Police, GISEC Global remains the region\u2019s largest cybersecurity gathering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A recent report shows that only 24% of the global cybersecurity workforce are women. To address this gap, the Inspire Programme will spotlight female professionals shaping the future of the industry. This includes keynotes, panels, and interactive sessions led by top voices in cybersecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speakers include Aarti Borkar, Corporate VP of Microsoft Security; Dr. Bushra AlBlooshi of DESC; Francel Margareth Padilla from the Armed Forces of the Philippines; and Pei Ling Lee of INTERPOL. Also joining is Danni Brooke, co-founder of OSINT Group and a former undercover intelligence expert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aarti Borkar highlighted the need for diverse teams to tackle evolving cyber threats. She noted that AI is changing how attacks are handled and that women must be given more opportunities to lead in this space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danni Brooke shared how human intelligence remains essential, even as AI and automation grow. She emphasized that cybersecurity involves more than just technical skills and that more outreach is needed to attract women to various roles in the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GISEC Global 2025<\/a> expects to welcome over 750 global brands and 25,000+ professionals from more than 160 countries. With dedicated programmes on OT Security and national defence, it aims to foster innovation and cross-border collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
