TAMM Abu Dhabi<\/a> has been named the world\u2019s best E-Government project at the WSIS Prizes 2025. The announcement was made during a ceremony held in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 7. The award is part of a global initiative supported by the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developed by the Department of Government Enablement \u2013 Abu Dhabi (DGE), TAMM is a flagship project under the Abu Dhabi Digital Strategy 2025-2027. The platform was created in collaboration with over 40 Abu Dhabi Government entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials reported that TAMM has transformed how people access government services. It offers fast, simple, and AI-powered support for over 3.3 million users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TAMM\u2019s AI Assistant, launched in October 2024, was also recognized. It has facilitated more than 700,000 conversations and resolved 1.4 million cases. The assistant connects users to over 1,100 services in more than 90 languages using conversational AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This achievement further highlights Abu Dhabi\u2019s position as a global leader in digital excellence and smart governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of DGE, stated the award reflects a shared commitment to building a fast, smart, and intuitive government. He added that TAMM showcases how innovation and technology can be used with purpose and empathy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zeitoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, revealed that TAMM has automated numerous policing processes. These improvements have saved thousands of working hours and enhanced service delivery. He emphasized that the platform supports Abu Dhabi Police\u2019s vision for proactive and secure community services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, said TAMM has made once time-consuming services quick and accessible. He highlighted that registering property sales or renewing licenses now takes only minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Excellency Mansoor Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi, stated that TAMM is helping build one of the world\u2019s smartest health systems. The platform supports personalised healthcare by improving access and outcomes through AI.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development \u2013 Abu Dhabi, noted that TAMM improves quality of life by enabling easy and proactive access to government services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 TAMM uses AI to resolve 95% of service requests.
\u2022 It allows human agents to focus on complex cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WSIS Prizes are led by the International Telecommunication Union. These awards recognize ICT projects that support the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The 2025 edition included 18 categories with winners chosen through a global voting process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its inception in 2013, WSIS Prizes have honored transformative digital projects worldwide. TAMM Abu Dhabi\u2019s recognition adds to the emirate\u2019s growing international reputation for innovation in government services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
