As part of an initiative to minimise energy usage and carbon emissions, Enova, the regional integrated energy and facilities management, recently inked a new five-year Energy Performance Contract (EPC) with Aldar. The signing took place in Abu Dhabi during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week at the World Future Energy Summit 2022 (WFES). The new contract will include 18 commercial and retail properties, with an overall energy savings commitment of 17.7% per year, equating to a reduction of 10,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.
