F5 has announced the availability of F5 NGINX for Microsoft Azure, an Azure-native service offering developed in collaboration with Microsoft that enables customers to deliver modern applications on Azure with a few clicks.
Developers can use NGINX, the familiar and trusted load balancing solution, to lift and shift on-premises applications to Azure and deploy new, born-in-the-cloud services.
The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated cloud migration, according to F5’s 2022 State of Application Strategy Report, with three-quarters of organizations deploying applications in public cloud environments. As cloud adoption grows, more than a quarter of organizations host application security and delivery services in the cloud.
