Fintech firm Aman finds Cairo ICT a window of opportunities

Aman, a fintech subsidiary of Raya Holding Financial Investments, is participating in Cairo ICT for the second consecutive year as the region’s largest technology event brings new opportunities for growth.

Being held from Nov 7-10 at Egypt International Exhibition Centre under the theme, The Digital Challenge, Cairo ICT 2021, celebrates its silver jubilee this year.

Aman, which works towards achieving digital transformation in Egypt, is taking part in two segments this year—Financial Technology and Digital Inclusion Exhibition and Conference PAFIX, Connecta Entertainment Technology exhibition, which features a selection of international companies specialising in the field of phones, smart devices and electronic games.

Hazem Moghazi, CEO of Aman Financial Services and Aman Microfinance, said: “We are delighted to be participating in the expo for the second time in a row along with the leading local, regional and global technology companies in various fields. Participating in Cairo ICT opens up new horizons to develop our technological infrastructure, which we are constantly strengthening to serve our customers better and to move forward in our support for the country’s efforts in digital transformation and financial inclusion.”

Mohamed Wahby, CEO of Aman E-Payments, said the company’s participation at Cairo ICT this year sums up its remarkable growth in 2020-2021.

“Our participation this year is the culmination of the remarkable progress we have made in 2020-2021 in providing financial technology solutions in the Egyptian market, particularly through e-payment activity through a network of more than 100,000 machines across the country. The consumer finance services provided by Aman using the best technology that saves customers’ time and effort have reached more than 80 percent of people not covered by banking services.”

Aman’s e-payment services won the most innovative non-cash payment service award at the seventh edition of the annual Global Business Outlook Awards in September-October 2021.
