Spare Parts 3D (SP3D) is a French startup that helps manufacturers digitalize their spare parts inventory through additive manufacturing. They were part of the first French-Saudi French Fab Booster accelerator program that took place in Saudi Arabia from the 14th to the 24th of November launched by Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy, in partnership with the National Industrial Development and Logistics program (NIDLP)
The French additive manufacturing startup had the chance to pitch its unique machine-learning software DigiPART to key local players, industrialists, and investors during a 10-day immersion programme. This gave them the chance to explain the advantages of additive manufacturing for a streamlined, decarbonized, and more dependable supply chain.
The 10-day programme was launched with major companies like Aramco, PIF, Obeikan Investment Group, Equans, Axens etc. present in the symposium. Later, visits to KACST (King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology) in Riyadh were organized. The goal of the visits was to learn more about initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Industry 4.0 along with the innovation district represented by the Garage, and Obeikan Industrial City to explore their digital journey.
Spare Parts 3D has access to a soft-landing programme made up of mentorship, decision-makers, and Saudi investors as an intensive business programme focusing on rapidly expanding enterprises in the fields of Industry 4.0, while also giving particular instruments to develop business in the Kingdom. The accelerator programme was broken down into four parts, each of which lasted nine months. Go-to-market planning, bootcamp, coaching, B2B meetings with significant local partners, and carefully arranged matchmaking events with local investors are just a few of the services offered.

Spare Parts 3D solutions have proven to be successful in the Middle East as evidenced by its recent collaboration with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) where during six months, the team processed 150,000 coded spare parts to define a 3D printing adoption matrix based on technical feasibility and economical attractiveness.
The company used a data-driven funnel approach methodology that had the aid of the multidisciplinary PDO teams along with the availability of material coding information records and DigiPART, SP3D’s special machine-learning-based software.
