The Social Loan Company (TSLC), which has created a unique Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine-Learning-powered credit enablement platform, announced the addition of two senior executives to its global leadership team as it grows into emerging and frontier countries.
Ziad Sawalha has been named Group Chief Technology Officer, while Shagorika Heryani has been named Chief Marketing Officer by the company. Both will report to Deepak H Saluja, the company’s co-founder and CEO.
Ziad Sawalha comes to TSLC from Klarna, a leader in Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), where he spent over 20 years driving innovation and spearheading technology change. He will be responsible for delivering on the Group’s technology vision, strategy, and implementation at TSLC help build the foundational pillars of data science, credit-decisioning, R&D, engineering, solution architecture and patents with the overarching purpose of building a cutting-edge, global financial wellness platform for underserved consumers.

Shagorika Heryani is a multi-disciplinary marketer with over 18 years of expertise creating culturally appropriate brands that are business growth catalysts. She formerly worked at Grey Worldwide as the Regional Head of Strategy. She will be in charge of creating a worldwide impact brand for digital natives at TSLC, one that represents the convergence of consumer drive, technology, and cultural shifts.
