Gulf Craft partnered with SAP for digital transformation, which will revolutionize the experience of its customers all over the world. The partnership will support the on-going expansion of Gulf Craft across the world.

The brand’s revolutionary approach to boat and yacht manufacture will be driven by the digital transformation, which will entail the adoption of new systems and processes that will drive the brand’s innovative approach to prototyping, production, and delivery of the vessel to the owner.

Talal Nasralla, Gulf Craft’s CEO said: “As our business continues to expand into new and emerging markets across the globe, it is important that we have a strong digital infrastructure to streamline our processes effectively. With the addition ofcustomers from different parts of the world, the digitalisation will help unify our sales, project management, manufacturing and procurement functions on one real-time digital platform.This will contribute significantly to enhancing our operational and resource management efficiency.”

Gulf Craft will implement the RISE with SAP solution, which comprises customer relationship management, project and portfolio management, and supply chain solutions, on the Microsoft Azure cloud as part of the first phase of digital transformation. SAP Ariba digital procurement solutions and the SAP SuccessFactors human experience management suite will be implemented in the second phase. In addition to comprehensive product lifecycle management, the SAP Teamcenter by Siemens solution will take advantage of Industry 4.0 features.

Gulf Craft was founded in 1982 in the United Arab Emirates and now has three facilities in the UAE and the Maldives, with a production capacity of 200 boats per year. The company has already constructed over 10,000 boats for clients all around the world. Majesty, the company’s flagship; Silvercraft, which offers economical smaller family and fishing boats; Oryx sports cruisers; Nomad explorer yachts; and Touring Passenger Vessels are among Gulf Craft’s brands.
