Hafil is one of the Middle East’s major bus and coach businesses, with a fleet of over 12,000 vehicles, a fully equipped workshop, and service centres and depots around the kingdom. Hafil Transportation, as part of a consortium controlled by the Makkah Development Authority, performs a critical role in ensuring that pilgrims, who number in the millions each year, travel to and from the Holy City of Mecca in comfort and safety.
Hafil aimed to unify and automate business procedures across all of its divisions, including Hajj/Umrah, school transportation, and private transportation, as a result of its expanding activities. Hafil, which operates 5,000 to 8,000 buses per day, chose Infor EAM, a best-in-class enterprise asset management software solution with built-in capabilities and the ability to interact with other applications, to improve its performance.
