Every year on March 8th, International Women’s Day recognizes women’s social, political, and economic accomplishments while drawing global attention to places where more action is required.
With more women taking on leadership positions in technology, TECHx, in association with Lexar, launched a #WomenInTech campaign to recognize and celebrate inspirational women who have made significant contributions to the ICT industry in the region.
Women from the leading ICT brands widely participated in the campaign by sharing inspirational & exciting messages through videos about their experiences of being in the tech industry/tech role, Importance of work life balance and how organizations can help achieve this and tips for aspiring women looking to join the tech industry.
Furthermore, many women form the industry also participated in the campaign through exclusive Q&A sessions where they shared the chunks from their remarkable journeys in the field.

If an individual believes that their gender will prevent them from achieving their goals, they will be even more limited. In the 21st century, we need women taking leadership roles at all levels”
