FOODICS, a cloud-based restaurant technology and payments platform in the MENA region has signed a strategic partnership with SaveFast, the best-in-class Training Academy accredited both locally and internationally focused on upskilling local communities and getting them ready for the job market.

The agreement was signed during Saudi Feast 2022, the season’s most eagerly awaited gastronomic celebration in the Kingdom. To advance technical and non-technical skills within the F&B industry, Foodics and SaveFast, through its sister company, Hospitality Institute GCC, are also opening in Riyadh a first-of-its-kind in-restaurant simulation training centre as part of the agreement.

The learning centre provides a safe controlled environment, giving hands-on and simulated training experiences, ranging from F&B customer service to F&B tech, food safety, food waste reduction and much more along with theoretical training.

Abdulrahman Joud, Director of Foodics Academy said “Together with our training partner, SaveFast, the Foodics Academy Training Center will help boost tech and non-tech skills for job seekers across the F&B sector, benefiting job seekers, restaurant owners and operators, as well as the whole ecosystem at large.”

Mania Hossaini, Group CEO of SaveFast, said, “SaveFast are delighted to sign this unique partnership with Foodics. Our Vision is to empower our learners, improving their lives through learning. Through Hospitality Institute GCC and this Academy, we aim to develop local talent for the Saudi F&B sector, helping to realize the government’s ambitious Vision 2030 and delivering a uniquely Saudi Hospitality Revolution. We have secured job pledges for our graduates, from many of our clients and government funding, ensuring that our courses add maximum value to the industry and to those who attend.”

Restaurants will have access to qualified job seekers thanks to this effort, which will speed up the upgrade of their personnel. This will make job seekers more employable on an individual basis.

The SaveFast Training Academy has trained thousands of people all around the world over its more than ten years of existence. They are the perfect partner for Foodics since their courses are created by subject-matter specialists and taught by knowledgeable instructors who have experience working with various businesses.
