With the current volatility in global markets testing logistics companies like never before, Infor is hosting a virtual supply chain summit to help industry players gain insights into how they can build strong, secure, and resilient supply chains.

The event is especially relevant for supply chain and logistics companies in the Middle East, with recent research from IDC revealing that spending on digital supply chain and logistics in META is forecast to reach $8.5 billion during 2020-23.

The online summit will feature speakers including Mark Illidge, VP & GM Infor Nexus EMEA, and Richard van der Meulen, Infor director of solution consulting. They will be joined by trusted thought leaders, including Yann de Feraudy, deputy CEO operations & IT at Groupe Rocher and president of the Association of France Supply Chain by Aslog, in addition to senior executives from Kühne+Nagel, IDC, Cranfield School of Management, and Birlasoft.

The speakers will share their real-life stories around maintaining strong, secure, resilient supply chains, while a selected mix of industry analysts, educators, and corporate executives will discuss the trends and future of every organization’s lifeblood—a strong, secure, and well-managed supply chain and ecosystem.

The summit will include theme-focused breakout sessions designed to inspire attendees and offer insights into how best to use technology to digitally transform business, and show how other leading organizations are embracing tools to improve the strength of their supply chains and mitigate risk in these unpredictable times.

The event will also provide ample opportunity for dialogue; experts will be available to chat with attendees live in the forum’s ‘Q&A center.’

“With spending on digital supply chain and logistics set to surge in the next few years, now is the ideal time for companies to discover more about how to boost agility, resilience and velocity in their supply chains, ensuring that their investments have the maximum impact,” said Khaled AlShami, Infor director of solution consulting, MEA.

The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. (Gulf Standard Time), Oct 20. Executives interested in attending can register here.
