Dubai Internet City (DIC), a global business and technology hub and member of TECOM Group PJSC—announced that it will house Intel’s newest artificial intelligence (AI) software R&D centre. The first of its kind in the GCC, the centre will help to advance the capabilities of Intel’s leading AI software solutions.
Intel and the centre will work closely with the respective AI, software business, and academic ecosystems in Dubai and connect with the larger region through the Middle East region’s digital transformation strategy. This will enable the company to pursue strategic partnerships, boost digital adoption, and develop 4th Industrial Revolution technologies while also creating a strong knowledge-sharing platform on the most recent AI trends, technologies, and solutions.

AI experts from various global offices will be relocated by Intel to bring international tech talent and skills into the community
