Intel’s newest vPro platform delivers the most comprehensive security, blistering performance and modern remote manageability.

What’s New: Intel introduced the new Intel vPro platform powered by the full lineup of 13th Gen Intel Core processors. Built for business, Intel vPro addresses the ever-changing needs of businesses by delivering the most comprehensive security1, necessary hardware for companies in need of a PC refresh and increased productivity for all employees. This year, the expansive commercial portfolio will deliver more than 170 notebooks, desktops and entry workstations from partners including Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Fujitsu, Panasonic and Samsung.

Stephanie Hallford, Intel vice president and general manager of the Commercial Client Division said “For nearly two decades, we’ve been committed to our mission of delivering products and technologies that keep organizations running and workers productive. With our new 13th Gen Intel Core processors, the Intel vPro platform remains the premier business computing foundation, providing the best in security, business management and performance for organizations of all sizes.”

Why Intel vPro is the Business Computing Foundation of Choice: With dozens of security features embedded deep in the silicon, Intel’s new vPro platform provides crucial threat prevention and helps to reduce the attack surface by an estimated 70% compared to 4-year-old PCs.2 Additionally, new IT-enabled memory encryption will revolutionise Windows’ virtualization-based security. Endpoint detection and response (EDR) vendors with Intel® Threat Detection Technology activated will offer customers more options and more effective detection of the most recent threats. The most complete security offering in the market is provided by Intel vPro, the only business platform with all of this and integrated hardware security to detect ransomware and software supply chain attacks.

The 13th Gen Intel Core processors form the basis of the new vPro platform, which features a hybrid architecture incorporating Performance-cores, select offerings with more Efficient-cores, Intel® Thread Director for more intelligent task classification, and Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology for improved energy efficiency. Additionally, Intel Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+), Thunderbolt 4, and Intel Evo platform validation ensure that vPro devices are optimized for modern business computing needs, offering superior experiences such as intelligent collaboration.

Performance improvements for Intel vPro designs with 13th Gen Intel Core include:

• Up to 65% faster Windows application performance versus 3-year-old desktop PC.3

• Up to 45% faster content creation while multitasking than a current AMD desktop.4

• Up to 2.3 times faster Windows application performance versus 3-year-old mobile PC.5

• Up to 40% faster Windows application performance versus a current AMD notebook6 and up to 25% faster business application performance versus Apple M2.7

• Up to 58% faster report generation while collaborating than a current AMD notebook.8

Developers of edge applications can release the power of their data with the help of 13th Gen Intel Core processors running on Intel vPro platforms. These processors offer edge processing speed, remote device manageability, strong security tools, and much more. They are perfect for use in production, retail, banking, hospitality, education, and other fields.

Why It Matters: According to a recent report from IDC, Intel-based Windows PCs have a 26% lower risk of major PC-related security events compared to other Windows PCs.9 In today’s business climate, refreshing to the latest hardware is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. Companies of all sizes are fighting to better defend against the latest security threats, improve employee productivity and enable optimal experiences like videoconferencing.

Last year, Intel made its technologies accessible to users and organizations of all sizes with the launch of Intel vPro Enterprise and Intel vPro Essentials. As a result, small and medium-sized businesses, large enterprises, public sector organizations, and academic institutions can now acquire the appropriate Intel vPro capabilities to establish the optimal computing foundation for their particular requirements.
