Intersec Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom’s leading trade fair for safety, security, and fire protection, kicks off its sixth edition tomorrow at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC). This significant exhibition and conference caters specifically to the Saudi market, addressing the needs of government agencies and companies within the security, safety, and fire protection industries.
From October 1 to 3, the event will showcase 310 exhibitors and serve as a hub for innovation, featuring the latest technologies from around the globe. This year’s edition is set to be the largest yet, with an expected attendance of 17,000 visitors—marking a 34% increase from the previous year.

The Future Security & Safety Summit will be a highlight of the event, bringing together Saudi industry leaders and global experts. The summit will focus on pressing industry challenges and opportunities, including emerging global threats, crisis response strategies, and responsible AI innovation. Eng. Ibrahim bin Abdul Qader Al Abu Issa, Assistant Governor of the HCIS for Engineering Affairs and Licensing, will deliver the opening keynote.
Key sessions on the summit’s opening day include ‘Developing a Security Strategy for Island and Coastal Tourism Destinations’ by Tawfeeq Alsadoon, Group Head of Security at Red Sea Global, and ‘Cybersecurity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence – Opportunities and Risks’ by data and cybersecurity expert Arwa Alhamad.
Meanwhile, the Fire Protection & Technology Summit will gather leading fire and emergency service experts to discuss critical industry challenges, standards, policies, and technologies. Saudi Civil Defense will deliver the opening keynote for this two-day summit, which aims to strengthen collaboration between government authorities and the industry.
Sessions on the first day of the Fire Protection & Technology Summit will include presentations on the ‘Effectiveness of Deployed Technologies in Fire Protection’ by AC Ryan ONG, Director of the Singapore Civil Defence Force, and ‘Fire Safety Hazards for Electric Vehicles’ by Zahi Daher, Regional Standards Manager at UL Standards & Engagement.

Hall 5, named Intersec Saudi Arabia Infinity, will feature Security, Safety, and Fire exhibitors, complemented by a purpose-built outdoor exhibition space.
