TECHx:D-Link partnered with Ameyo recently to launch its cloud contact center in UAE & Oman, tell us more about its significance?
Sakkeer Hussain:D-Link has recently partnered with Ameyo. With this partnership, we are Ameyo’s only cloud partner in the UAE and Oman. Our aim is to bring to our partners the hardware reliability and software services under one umbrella with Ameyo’s product suite.
Ameyo helps consumer-facing brands implement results-focussed engagement with customers across mediums like voice, email, chat, social media, and video for sales, onboarding, customer service, and collections use cases. Its product suite includes Omnichannel Contact Center Solutions and Helpdesk & Ticketing Software. Ameyo’s solutions are ready to support businesses in UAE and Oman with various options, including on-premise deployments in customer-centric data centers or through the cloud-like AWS, Azure, Oracle, or D-Link cloud. TECHx:What are some of your latest offerings in the Wi-Fi Routers Segment & Surveillance Segment?
Sakkeer Hussain:D-Link features Wi-Fi 6 routers which includes two flagship products – DIR-X6060EXO AX 6000 and DIR-X5460 EXO AX 5400.
D-Link’s DWR-925W 4G LTE M2M Router, offers seamless connections to businesses. The easy-to-deploy, high-performance 3G/4G router features a dedicated Fast Ethernet port and dual-SIM 4G LTE mobile broadband for maximum redundancy and flexibility for intense machine-to-machine applications.
D-Link’s extensive portfolio includes intelligent cameras, such as its flagship product – mydlink DCS-8630LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Spotlight Camera with Built-in Smart Home Hub. The cameras are interoperable with other devices in the mydlink ecosystem, and also work with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, as well as conform to the ONVIF standard.
mydlink Wire-Free Camera Kit DCS-2802KT also supports wireless video surveillance. With a rechargeable battery life of up to 11 months, the camera is equipped with cloud or local video storage and has other features such as IP65 weatherproof, built-in 100 dB siren, Full HD 1080p resolution, and PIR motion detection among others.
Among other products that support wireless video surveillance, D-Link also has 802.11a/n Outdoor Short-Distance Wireless Bridge DAP-F3704-I, various wireless AC outdoor bridges such as DAP-F3711-1, DAP-F3705-N, DAP-F3712-N to name a few. These are powerful wireless broadband access and transmission products. The product built-in VTrans wireless technology incorporates a number of core technologies including MIMO-OFDM, TDMA, Auto ACK etc. to ensure high throughput and reliable wireless signal coverage under various application scenarios. They offer stable outdoor wireless signal coverage and long-distance wireless backhaul and provide customers with stable, high quality, convenient broadband services.
