Apple is expected to release the iPhone 13 next month, but one feature has piqued our interest. According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 13 may include a function that allows you to make satellite calls from your smartphone. If this is the case, customers would be able to make calls and send messages even when there is no connectivity.
This new function is especially appealing to people who reside in rural regions, where maintaining a continuous strong cellular connection might be difficult.
Following the first Kuo story, Bloomberg issued its report, implying that the satellite connectivity would be used to relay messages to emergency agencies and contacts when a cellular connection would be unavailable. According to Bloomberg, while the hardware may be ready for the iPhone 13 launch, the function itself may not be available until next year.
Others find it difficult to imagine Kuo would be incorrect given his track record of producing accurate Apple leaks.
Apple is anticipated to release four new models: the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 tiny. The iPhone 13 is believed to be powered by the A15 Bionic processor and will resemble the iPhone 12 series in appearance. The iPhone 13 mini might come with a 5.4-inch display. The basic and Pro versions might both include a 6.1-inch screen.
Although the phone’s release date is reported to be less than a month away, the anticipation among Apple enthusiasts continues to grow. The month of September is expected to be dominated by significant smartphone releases from technological giants. Apple and Samsung have previously suggested that their launch ceremonies for the iPhone 13 series and the Galaxy S21 FE will take place this month. It is currently being speculated that Google will also release its Pixel 6 series around the same time.
