Kodak Alaris has improved its i4000 Series Scanners. The Kodak i4650 and i4850 Production Scanners now offer up to 160 pages per minute scanning speeds (ppm).
The Kodak i4000 Series Scanners are ideal for BPOs, service bureaus, busy corporate mailrooms, government agencies, and other paper-intensive organizations that require fast scanning, superior image quality, and consistent data accuracy to maximize productivity.

The Kodak i4650 and i4850 Scanners are loaded with features that assist scanning professionals in processing documents more efficiently and lowering operating costs. A 500-sheet input elevator provides continuous document feeding with a straight-through paper path for materials like cardstock, file folders, and long documents, all while increasing throughput. The new Kodak i4650 can scan at up to 145 ppm, while the Kodak i4850 can scan at up to 160 ppm.
To protect important documents, the Kodak i4000 Series has four layers of document protection.
Length detection prevents papers from overlapping and becoming one long document. Double document feed detection ensures that only one document enters the scanner at a time, while Intelligent Document Protection detects crumpling sounds and stops the scanning process immediately. Furthermore, metal detection keeps forgotten staples and paper clips from jamming and scratching the scanner glass.
The user experience is simplified by an intuitive interface and one-touch scanning, and combining these document scanners with Kodak Capture Pro Software enables intelligent data processing capabilities that can significantly increase productivity.
