Kodak Alaris has formed a global strategic cooperation with digital intelligence company ABBYY, announced a company statement.

As part of the extended alliance, Kodak Alaris and ABBYY will provide a technological integration of the Kodak INfuse Smart Connected Scanning Solution and Vantage.

The agreement extends the long-standing partnership to include the integration of Kodak Alaris’ information capture solutions with ABBYY’s  low-code/no-code, cloud-based intelligent document processing (IDP) platform, Vantage, to assist organisations in successfully transforming documents into actionable data.

Together, Kodak Alaris and ABBYY will advance global automation projects and provide possibilities for both businesses and their partners to tackle a range of document processing difficulties for customers.

The Kodak Alaris INfuse Solution effortlessly interfaces with partner apps to develop solutions that make it simple to gather data and send it straight into business processes. Customers benefit from an automated end-to-end solution for fast, uncomplicated invoice processing when coupled with intelligent automation systems. This year, Kodak Alaris will also include Vantage connectivity and access to a library of document talents from the ABBYY Marketplace.

“We are delighted to partner with ABBYY and look forward to working together to help our joint customers accelerate their automation strategies and increase productivity,” said Don Lofstrom, President & General Manager at Kodak Alaris.

“Vantage completely reimagines how Kodak Alaris can solve document processing challenges for its customers by now having a more agile, yet powerful IDP solution that easily integrates into INfuse,” commented Bruce Orcutt, SVP of Product Marketing at ABBYY.

“We are pleased that Kodak Alaris’ ecosystem of customers and partners now have a low-code/no-code, easy-to-consume option and to expand our partnership with Kodak Alaris,” Orcutt added.

The INfuse Scanner digitises various sorts of documents fast, and the data is supplied straight to the ABBYY Vantage platform. ABBYY Vantage delivers pre-trained document abilities that enable enterprises to read and interpret the content and context of any form of document with high accuracy. Vantage automatically collects and classifies incoming documents, sends them to the proper business processes, and learns from each document to enhance straight-through-processing speeds.
