Owing to its experience in the field of information displays, LG has a long-standing history of supporting both students and educators alike with solutions that heighten audiovisual immersion and encourage student-teacher collaboration, while also delivering on practicalities such as easy connection and content management.

Technology has often been spoken of in terms of the game changing role it can play within education. At the height of the pandemic, we witnessed first-hand how technology stepped in to support teachers and students by enabling remote learning as schools closed. Even prior to the outbreak, LG has been helping to bridge the gap between the educator and the learner with our range of display solutions. As educational institutions embark on a new chapter which sees a blend of distance and in-person learning, we are ready to support and tailor our technology to meet individual demand,” said Mr. Elias Tanios, Business Development Manager – Government and Education, LG Electronics Gulf.

As technology evolves, LG cites changes in expectations from students for more tech-savvy solutions and increasing demand for personalized education as key reasons for witnessing growth in investments. LG’s large format displays and video walls can transform classroom interactions, while UHD interactive whiteboards, Zero Client virtual computers and IPS desktop monitors provide outstanding image quality and wide viewing angles where colors and contrast remain true and text stays crisp.

In environments where in-person learning is possible, teachers and students can share content from their own devices to digital signage over a Wi-Fi network, while interactive whiteboards can provide personalized learning at a pace that best suits each student. LG also offers a more seamless experience with regards to automated videoconferencing. A number of LG’s commercial displays are Crestron Connected certified and Cisco Webex Room Kits compatible for easy integration, completely automated control, auto on/off and full functionality via Ethernet, from anywhere.

Mr. Tanios added, “Thanks to the great foresight of educational institutions and government commitment, the UAE’s education sector has been able to stay one step ahead of unforeseen challenges, while also anticipating future demand. Digital transformation is an ongoing journey, one which requires constant iteration and evaluation of output achieved. LG’s wide array of digital solutions make them ideal schools and campuses. From screens at campus entrances, lobby areas, and in classrooms to laboratories, larger auditoriums and more.”
