Logicom has signed a distribution deal with Dell Technologies. Prior to its participation at the 2021 edition of GITEX Technology Week, the regional distributor of technology products and services in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa revealed it has inked a strategic partnership with Dell Technologies.

The two businesses have agreed to extend their agreement in the UAE following a successful collaboration in the GCC and the favourable impact of Logicom’s marketing of Dell Technologies’ commercial desktops, notebooks, workstations, thin clients, servers, and storage solutions in these regions. The new arrangement will allow Logicom to make Dell Technologies’ industry-leading server and storage products available to its channel.

“Logicom has maintained a strong and sustainable presence in the region for over two decades through strategic partnerships and by building a strong partner network,” said Spiros Rafailovits, General Manager for UAE & Gulf at Logicom Distribution.

Further said, “Our core capabilities revolve around creating value for our vendors and creating and maximizing reach and awareness. We are looking forward to delivering the same high standards this year and beyond, providing our partners with the solutions and services required across all market segments in the MENA region.”

Dell Technologies will be able to continue its commitment to assisting organisations on their digital transformation path as a result of this relationship. In addition, Logicom’s value added services, such as supply chain and warehouse capabilities, financial support for channel partners, a large and diverse partner base, and partner recruitment and enablement, will all contribute to the business’s success.

As the distributor continues to provide its partner community with best-in-class solutions from the top Technology vendors, this relationship will further boost Logicom’s value-add services.

Logicom will also be able to provide extra support to the channel, such as basic and advanced product training and certification, POCs, and technical support for tender and bid documents, as a result of the agreement.

According to Kenneth Research’s Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Digital Transformation Market for 2021 till 2030 report, the value of digital transformation in the MENA region is expected to reach $2.8 billion by 2025. Kenneth Research is a leading global advisory and consulting firm that tracks digital trends around the world.
