MarTech Major WebEngage stretches into MEA & aims 3x growth by 2022

WebEngage has revealed its expansion into the Middle East and Africa, following successful operations in Asia, in order to meet the growing demand in the region. In the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, and Qatar, the MarTech company has established a specialized local staff for sales and customer success management.

For the past three years, the firm has been working in the region to cultivate partnerships, and it now aims to engage heavily in community development, education, and training activities to help customer teams in the Middle East develop their capabilities. eXtra Stores, Vezeeta, Btech, elmenus, Ajmal Perfumes, Jazeera Paints, Wego, MakeMyTrip, and others are among WebEngage’s regional portfolio’s enterprise and startup segments.

eXtra, Saudi Arabia’s fastest-growing retail brand, witnessed a 33% increase in purchases through cart abandonment campaigns that led to 21% increase in revenue.
