Minor Hotels to debut its Avani and Tivoli brands in Bahrain

Minor Hotels announced its strategic entrance into Bahrain with the upcoming debut of its Avani and Tivoli brands. Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort and Tivoli Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort are part of Bilaj Al Jazayer, a new waterfront recreational mixed-use project owned by Edamah, Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund, Mumtalakat, and set to open in 2024. Resorts, residential villas and apartments, food and beverage outlets, retail, offices, and entertainment will be available in the new development.

Bilaj Al Jazayer, on Bahrain’s southwest coast, has 1.3 million square meters of land and has a three-kilometer shoreline. Bahrain’s capital and largest city, Manama, is a 25-minute drive away from the Bahrain International F1 Circuit and Dilmun Waterpark.

The new Avani and Tivoli hotels, each with 110 rooms, will be built on the shoreline of Bilaj Al Jazayer’s main promenade. In addition to an outdoor swimming pool, a gym, and conference space, Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer will feature a variety of guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, an Avani Pantry, and a pool bar. Guest rooms and suites, two restaurants, two bars, a café, an outdoor swimming pool, a gym, and spa and wellness facilities will be available at Tivoli Bilaj Al Jazayer. In addition, under the Bilaj Al Jazayer development, the hotels will share a beach club.

Minor Hotels currently has 29 hotels and resorts in operation and the pipeline in the Middle East region across its Anantara, Avani, Tivoli, and Oaks brands. The pipeline includes the launch of two new brands to the area – NH Collection and NH Hotels.
