Mohammad Mostafa takes up new role as GM, Health Systems, Philips MET

Royal Philips has appointed Mohammad Mostafa as the new Health Systems General Manager, Philips Middle East & Turkey. Mostafa will lead Philips’ healthcare business in the region as the company continues to drive a value-based approach towards healthcare. With a strong focus on integrated healthcare solutions, Mostafa takes on the responsibility of Philips healthcare’s success and growth in 15 markets across the MET region. He will continue to be based in Saudi Arabia and will report to Ventricelli, Philips MET CEO.

Mohammad Mostafa, General Manager for Health Systems in Philips Middle East & Turkey said, “At a time when the world is facing its toughest ever healthcare challenges, I am honoured to take up my new role. Mohammad Mostafa has been leading Philips in Saudi Arabia for the past five years where he led the business to outperform the market. Mostafa joined Philips in 1998 and has held several roles throughout Africa and in the Middle East during his 22-year tenure. As General Manager of Philips Healthcare Egypt / North East Africa, he achieved phenomenal business success across the countries. Mostafa holds two masters degrees in Systems and biomedical engineering as well as in business administration.
