As PC Monitor Segment has seen significant growth across the region, AOC stands to benefit with its AGON series, says Carol Anne Dias, Regional Sales Head -MEA at AOC

We have seen tremendous growth in PC monitor shipments in 2020-2021 across the MEA region, how much has AOC been able to capitalize on this?   

Indeed the growth was exponential, and AOC has been able to capitalize with almost 127% growth increase in revenue as compared to last year. We have also seen year-on-year growth in our ASP with almost 43%.

What kind of demand do you foresee in the professional home/office monitor segment post-pandemic?

AOC has seen an incremental business especially for 27’’ and above in the Home and Office segment. As per context, there has been a growth of 105% in AOC 21.5’’ and 198% growth in 23.6 and 23.8’’ segments which mainly caters to the professional and Home and Office use.

AOC has built quite a reputation in the gaming monitors’ space with its AGON series. How do you differentiate yourself from the competition, and how is the gaming segment performing for you?  

Our Gaming performance has almost doubled since last year, especially in our AGON series and G-Line series 27’’ displays. Praised by both the gaming community as a whole as well as by hardware reviewers, ‘AGON by AOC’ monitors continue to stand out for their superb ergonomics, winning features, and use of high-quality materials. Nevertheless, as part of AOC’s strategy for constant improvement and growth, the ‘AGON by AOC’ brand is poised for further evolution.

What’s new in the gaming segment for AOC and how does the market look for you in coming years?
