Amazon Payment Services, a payment service provider in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, is partnering with Jordan’s Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) to develop and invest in cybersecurity talent. In order to foster forward-thinking security innovation and information security leadership in the area, the cooperation will provide students at PSUT in Jordan with attractive internship opportunities in cybersecurity, as well as scholarships for top cybersecurity talent.

This collaboration is a natural next step in Amazon Payment Services’ long-standing relationship with Jordan’s leading centre of excellence in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education and research, and it demonstrates both parties’ commitment to fostering cybersecurity talent in MENA, strengthening the region’s digital economy.

Amazon Payment Services will provide internship opportunities for PSUT cybersecurity students as part of the arrangement. Students enrolling in the programme will have the chance to obtain valuable job experience in security engineering by using Amazon Payment Services’ knowledge and best practises as a tech employer in the region.
