Ouster stretches its commercial space to the Middle East

Ouster announced its plans to stretch its commercial space to the Middle East. The company has hired a team in Dubai to establish local distribution networks to aid in the adoption of digital lidar in the region.

Ouster is dedicated to creating a Middle East presence to better service its customers in the region and better position itself to meet the growing demand for high-resolution digital lidar sensors around the world. Ouster aims to add new customers in each of its four sector verticals, with smart infrastructure submarkets driving the region’s growth. Ouster is presently collaborating with key distributors and integration partners to provide solution offerings for intelligent transportation systems and other use-cases.

 “With the establishment of new distribution networks and partnerships in the Middle East, Ouster expects to capitalize on initiatives to modernize infrastructure and to support the growing demand for digital lidar solutions in the region’s advanced security, smart infrastructure, robotics and industrial automation markets. Ouster’s relationships include the following distributors and integration partners in the Middle East:

  • Kempston Controls LLC (KCL), a global distributor of electrical process control and automation solutions as well as electronic components situated in the United Arab Emirates with a regional network of over 8,000 customers. Industrial automation, autonomous vehicle solutions, perimeter security applications, and anti-collision applications will all be supported by KCL using Ouster sensors.
  • Elimec, a prominent distributor of high-tech automation systems and components for commercial applications in the security, robotics, aerospace, and naval verticals in Israel will sell Ouster lidar sensors.
  •  Bell Tronics is a major distributor of technology goods and components for commercial applications in the security, surveillance, and smart-city sectors in Israel. For robotics and autonomous driving applications, as well as smart city and surveillance solutions, Bell Tronics will use Ouster sensors.
  • Solas Marine Services Group, based in the United Arab Emirates, is a leading provider of complete fire, rescue, and safety solutions for the marine and oil & gas industries. For onshore and offshore installation projects across the Middle East, Solas Marine has worked with Ouster to provide security solutions and assist digital lidar integrations.
