Provis has received the Sustainability award – Proptech category during the Smart Built Environment Awards 2021 ceremony held recently in Dubai. Provis was recognized for its exceptional efforts in utilizing technology to achieve significant energy savings, implementing a series of international green practices to make its business and communities under its management more sustainable, and implementing effective sustainability strategies to protect the environment.

Provis achieved significant energy and utility savings totaling AED 3.4 million in the first six months of 2021 across 12 Provis managed communities, exceeding its initial six-month objective of AED 1.85 million. Through chilled water and energy-saving activities, the company eliminated almost 7,000 tonnes of carbon emissions. It saved more than 17 million kWh of energy, marking a 14 percent increase over the same period last year. By the end of 2022, the corporation wants to improve its annual energy savings targets by 2 to 3 percent.
Provis has been nominated as finalist in three other categories at the “Smart Built Environment Awards 2021”, which are “Property Management Company of the Year”, “Customer Happiness Award”, and “Industry Personality of the Year”.
