Salesforce hosted a wide range of customers and partners at its annual Salesforce Live event, which took place at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah in Dubai. The event, which aimed to explore Salesforce’s dynamic growth and expansion in the region, highlighted the company’s large-scale investments in the Middle East.

The event, hosted by Thierry Nicault, Area Vice President – UAE, Middle East for Salesforce, recognized its customers and partners while also showcasing growing partnerships in the Middle East, Salesforce’s fastest-growing region, contributing to its ecosystem. The Salesforce ecosystem of partners in the UAE, for example, will generate 20,300 new jobs and USD 3.9 billion in new business revenues by 2026, with plans to expand further both locally and regionally. Polly Sumner, Salesforce’s Chief Adoption Officer, and Robin Fisher, Salesforce’s Senior Vice-President for the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Africa region, spoke at the event.

“The Middle East is one of our strongest and fastest-growing markets. Thanks to our dedicated customers and partners, we are able to expand further into this region and grow our ecosystem by delivering Salesforce solutions that enable the Middle East’s marketing, sales, commerce, service and IT teams to work as one from anywhere. It’s especially compelling to hear Salesforce customers in the region share their firsthand journeys in digital innovation and transformation across various industry verticals – we are proud to play a contributing role in their success,” said Nicault.

Salesforce has also recently acquired Mulesoft, a provider of integration software, Tableau, a provider of business intelligence and data visualization software, and Slack, a business communication platform and digital headquarters solution.

In addition to the keynote address, the event featured a dedicated session on Slack and sustainability, as well as a second session on the launch of Hyperforce in the UAE. Hyperforce is a reimagination of Salesforce’s platform architecture designed to reliably deliver the Salesforce Customer 360. It is powerful and scalable, supports high-level encryption, local data storage, and is backwards compatible. Through a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Hyperforce is able to deploy Salesforce solutions in the region while leveraging the advantages of public cloud computing.

The event concluded with customer panels that highlighted best practices in leveraging Salesforce solutions for a variety of industry sectors, including comments from TECOM, Emirates Transport, EMAAR, and Boxit4me, as well as sessions with partners Cloudzlab, El Technology, PwC, EPAM, and IBM.
