selfologi has launched a new healthtech website to revolutionise cosmetic treatment. The digital start-up based in Dubai has developed a first-of-its-kind healthtech website that allows visitors to explore and learn about cosmetic treatments in the UAE and KSA.

Users may explore and compare treatments and clinics on the new portal, which features comprehensive original content on cosmetic procedures.

Consumers will now have access to Arabic and English articles and editorial features written by global industry experts, covering everything they need to know to make confident judgments. The website will be the go-to resource for reliable information on cosmetic procedures such as fillers, skin rejuvenation, liposuction, and laser hair removal.

More than a million queries on cosmetic treatments are made in the Middle East each month according to Google search data. Selfologi claims that around $2.2 billion in cosmetic treatments are performed annually in the region based on private data. However, a large percentage of those polled indicated they couldn’t find the information they needed to book a treatment online.

Selfologi received $17.5 million in seed funding in June 2021, led by Tamer Wali, selfologi’s founder, and the Xenel International group.

“Currently, almost all cosmetic treatments are booked offline, with consumers not having access to updated, regionally relevant information that can aid their decision-making when it comes to something as personal as cosmetic treatments and procedures. selfologi was born  with the vision of offering consumers an unparalleled platform that informs, educates, and helps consumers make the right choice for themselves, and realise their full potential,”  said Tamer Wali, Founder of selfologi.

With support from the region’s leading experts in aesthetic technologies, alongside some of the best digital brains in the business, selfologi is set to be a game-changer and a pioneer in the multi-billion-dollar cosmetic treatments industry”.

Users in the UAE and Saudi Arabia will be able to book cosmetic treatments directly onselfologi.com beginning in early2022, with the goal of becoming the ultimate destination for customers and cosmetic clinics across the region. Cosmetic clinics and practitioners can join the platform to increase their visibility and allow clients to book appointments directly online.

Selfologi will be discussed at MEIDAM 2021 (Middle East International Dermatology Aesthetic Medicine Conference and Exhibition), which will be held September 23-25 at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City.
